Food Shortage for Shelter in Lancaster Ohio
7/15/2010 4:28:05 PM by Nina Simone

The Fairfield County Dog Shelter only has enough food to last till Friday or Saturday.  The dogs that are currently being housed there eat roughly 32 pounds of dog food a day.  What is sad about this situation is the Shelter is not allowed to solicite any help from the community.  That makes no sense since the community uses them to shelter the dogs that people no longer want or can take care of.  I will be donating.

Thats rediculous, the community should feel the need to help them out. If I were the shelter I would definately find a way to fight that rule.

Yeah but people think they are too important to have to help others.  They don't realise that it doesn't take much to help others in need.  Especially if you just cut back on some of your erroneous expenses.
